Midwest Critical Care, SC (MCC) is a Democratic, physician owned and operated Intensive Care Unit (ICU) staffing group founded and based in Wisconsin. The founders and current leaders of MCC are comprised of four physicians, all of whom have all trained and/or spent the majority of their careers working in the state of Wisconsin—we are proud to call the Midwest our home. MCC was developed by individual physicians who joined together after the COVID-19 pandemic, a time when the shortage of critical care services and ICU clinicians was at an all-time high. While this need for ICU services was all over the country, our goal was to assist in our hometowns and help fill the voids of critical care locally here in Wisconsin.

Our team of multidisciplinary Intensivists and Advanced Practice Clinicians (APCs) possess a wide breadth of knowledge and extensive experience in the field of critical care. Our diverse group of physicians, all of whom are double board certified, with a range of certifications including pulmonary/critical care, neuro/critical care, emergency medicine/critical care, and pediatrics/critical care, make us uniquely qualified to care for the wide spectrum of illness that our patients require. MCC offers permanent and per diem staffing solutions for health systems in Wisconsin looking to meet the demands of their ICUs. MCC clinicians have worked across the state and have experience in the management of complex patient populations with specific experience in cardiovascular, neurosurgical/neurointerventional, burn, medical and surgical critical care units.
